SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD)
One paper MCQ Type Written Test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. The syllabus is as under.
a) Qualification related Questions (80%)
b)
General Knowledge including Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, (20%)
Islamic studies (Ethics for non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Computer Studies.
NOTE: The candidate who qualify the written test will also appear and qualify the proficiency test in MS Office

District Education Officer (Literacy) (BS-17)
MINIMU M QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
I)  Master's degree (Second Division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission;
ii)  Two years relevant district-based field experience; and
iii)  Knowledge of M.S office.
NOTE:- 
i)  Two years' experience after Master's degree is required in the field of exposure to Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education.
ii)  Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/TEST (IF HELD)
MCQ Type Written Test of 90 minutes duration comprising.
i)  Questions relating to General Knowledge, (80%) Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies, (Ethics for non-Muslim Candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science.       
ii)  MS Office (20%)

Translator (BS-17)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
a)  Master's degree (first division) in Translation Studies from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR
b) Master's degree (second division) in English with specialization in translation from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR
c) Graduate (second division) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission with Diploma in Translation (at least six months) from English to Urdu from an Institute or University recognized by Higher Education Commission and two years' practical experience of translation from English to Urdu.
NOTE: Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority. Only post qualification experience will be accepted.

  • f)  Translation of Urdu text into English

NOTE:
i)   A candidate shall have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate to qualify for interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall also secure 50% marks in the interview to be held eligible for final merit list of successful candidates.
ii)  Negative marking shall be made and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each incorrect answer in the MCQ papers
NUMBER OF CHANCES:   Only three (03) chances are allowed to a candidate to appear in the examination of Translator (BS-17).

Chief Translator (BS-18)
Minimum Qualification / Experience

a)  M. Phil in Translation Studies from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission or M.Phil in English with specialization in translation from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; and
b)  Two years practical experience of translation from English to Urdu.
NOTE: Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regularity Authority. The requisite experience must be after acquiring the prescribed qualification.

DOMICILE: Candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab

NOTE:

Assistant Engineer/SDO (Civil) (BS-17)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

B.Sc.  Engineering in the relevant discipline and registered as Professional Engineer with  the Pakistan Engineering Council.
NOTE: According to Clause (5) of the Punjab Waqf Properties Ordinance 1979, no person be appointed as an officer unless he is a Muslim.

b)  A speed of 100 words per minute in Shorthand in English and 35 words per minute in typing.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/ TEST (IF HELD)
English shorthand with a speed of 100 words per minute, Typing  speed  of  35  words  per  minute  on computer.
