Project Manager (PPS-9)
Job Location:
Islamabad
Job Type: Full Time
Department: Project Management
Qualification: BSCS/BE Telecom from a university/institute recognized by HEC. PMP and ISO Certification would be highly preferred
Experience: Minimum 07 years of relevant experience. With at least 03 years of dealing with the PSDP projects and international standardization

Job Descriptions:

  • Manage project team, assign work and monitor project budget, schedule and performance
  • Review and approve ISO consultancy and audit reports according to ISO Standards
  • Coordination and implementation of ISO standards in Pakistan Call center and software industry
  • To assist Project Director in performing routine project related tasks and activities
  • Continuous monitoring of project milestones and deliverables for proper utilization of funds in-line with project scope, objectives and rules & regulations
  • Regular follow-ups on release of funds with Ministry of IT and other Govt. Departments
  • Contract management including drafting of contracts, signing of the contracts and execution of the contracts
  • To sign contract agreements with the service providers etc.
  • To facilitate in achieving set targets and implementation of short- and long-range goals
  • To issue sanctions, office orders, meeting minutes
  • Perform milestone review visits along with higher management

Assistant Project Officer

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for processing payment for approval from PD, scrutinizing invoices, contracts and other project related documents before processing the payment. He will submit the bill to AGPR for release of payment from PSDP budget.
  • He will prepare and sign the cheques as 2nd signatory
  • He will be responsible to open the project bank account. Industry receipts/contribution will be deposited in the said bank account. He will operate the bank account as 2nd signatory. Whereas, Project Director of this project would be the first signatory.
  • Regular follow-ups on release of funds with Ministry of IT and other Govt. Departments
  • Reconciliation of accounts with AGPR and Bank and book keeping
  • Contract management including drafting of contracts, signing of the contracts and execution of the contracts

Skills Required:

  • Ability to provide leadership, counsel, must have under taken such projects in the past, motivation and constructive performance reviews to staff, securing their respective commitments to the goals of the Project.
  • Excellent communication/ presentation skills with fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work under pressure and to resolve problems in an efficient manner
