National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) is a Federal Public Sector University, with Primary responsibility to promote and achieve excellence in advanced health education, research and service delivery. The Rawalpindi Campus houses the NUMS Institute of Advances Studies & Research (NIASR), which is dedicated to conduct cutting edge research and evidence based teaching in basic, applied and clinical discipline alongwith Social & Behavioral. NUMS following a holistic educational philosophy wherein Social Sciences and Humanities are included among core subjects alongwith medical & biological sciences in Undergraduate & Graduate programs. Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor (Philosophy) NPS/ TTS
Qualification:  PhD or equivalent qualification in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution.
Experience & Publication: Must have duly recognized experience & publications as per HEC Faculty Appointment Criteria for Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor.

Associate Professor (Periodontology) NPS/ TTS
Qualification:
PhD/ FOPS/ MPhil or equivalent qualification in relevant field as per PMC (Successor of PM&DC)/ HEC Faculty appointment criteria for Associate Professor Periodontoogy.
Experience & Publications:  Must have duly recognized experience & publications as per PMC (Successor of PM&DC)/ HEC Faculty appointment criteria.

Demonstrator (Oral Biology)
Qualification:
BDS from PMC/HEC recognized University/ Institution as per PMC (Successor of PM&DC)/ HEC Faculty Appointment criteria.
Experience & Publications: Working Experience in relevant filed at a reputed medical Institution/ University will be an added advantage.

Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor (Management Sciences) NPS/ TTS
Qualification:
PhD in Human Resource Management (HRM) & Organizational Behavior (OB)/ Supply Chain Management/ Project Management/ Finance from HEC recognized University.
Experience & Publications: Must have duly recognized experience & publications as per HEC Faculty Appointment Criteria for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor. For Assistant Professor preference will be given to candidates having minimum 3 years post PhD relevant experience in teaching/ research at HEC recognized University/ Institution.

Professor/ Associate Professor (Public Health)
Qualification:
PhD/ FCPS/ MPH or equivalent qualification in relevant field as per PMC (Successor of PM&DC)/ HEC Faculty appointment criteria for Professor/Associate Professor Public Health.

Qualification:
PhD or equivalent qualification in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution.

Deputy Director (Quality Assurance)
Qualification:
Masters / MPhil or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification and professional certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS). Must be computer savvy.
Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience with 7 years working experience in the area of Quality Assurance/QEC/ISO in HEC recognized University/ institution/ health care sector.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality assurance activities/ plans to meet HEC/PMC/ regulatory bodies guidelines/ requirements/ Academics Standards.
  • Have sound knowledge of emerging technologies & hands on experience in policy formulation & implementation of ISO standards.
  • Should have excellent report writing, analytical, communication and liaising skills with National/ International agencies.
  • Hands on experience of handling inspections as per standards of Regulatory bodies will be an added advantage.

Assistant Director/ Manager (Human Resources)
Qualification:
Masters/ MPhil or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification and professional certifications in HRM. Must be computer savvy.
Experience:

  • Minimum 5 — 7 years of post-qualification relevant experience including3 — 5 years recent working experience in the area of HRM in HEC recognized federal public sector University/ Medical Institution.
  • Hands on experience of Tenure Track System (TTS) management and familiarization with HEC/ PMC faculty appointment criteria, will be an added advantage.
  • Have sound knowledge of emerging technologies & hands on experience in policy formulation, implementation and development of processes.
  • Should be hardworking and have strong verbal/ written communication skills.

Assistant Director (Academics)
Qualification:
  Masters/ MPhil or equivalent qualification with MBBS as first degree from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Must be computer savvy.
Experience

  • Minimum 7 Years post qualification experience including 5 years of working experience in handling of Academics, Curriculum Development, Examinations, Assessment & Evaluation and Dispensation affairs in a reputed University/ Institutions.

Assistant Director (Admissions & Registration)
Qualification:
Masters or equivalent degree from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification. Must be computer savvy.
Experience:

  • Minimum 7 Years post-qualification relevant experience including 5 years of working experience in handling of Admission/ Registration process/ affairs of reputed University/ Institutions recognized by HEC/ PM&DC.
  • Having the Computer skills to manage independently Online Centralized Admission process.
  • Conversant with HEC & PM&DC policies/ rules& regulation.
  • Handling/ Processing of degrees of graduates and Statutory Bodies meetings.
  • Coordination with external authorities on academic/ student matters.
  • Should have strong verbal/ written communication skills.

  • Preferably having hands on experience in Industry Linkages, collaboration or consultancy in HEC recognized university/ institution or any public or private sector organization.
  • Expertise in industry Academia linkages in support of University research and linkage of University's research community with needs & priorities of corporate sector and vice versa is desirous.
  • Track record of entrepreneur, or working in an environment supporting entrepreneurship will also be an added advantage.
  • Well versed to develop opportunities for applied research and explore opportunities for technology transfer and the commercialization of university research.
  • Ability to process and execute MoUs/ DoUs with HEIs and corporate Sector.
  • Should have strong verbal/written communication skills.

Photographer
Qualification:
Bachelor/ equivalent degree preferably in Social Sciences / Humanities / Mass Communication / Computer Arts from recognized University / Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification and advance courses in 3D software / animation.
Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience as photographer or working in a video production house of well repute. Working on 3D software & animation production house of well repute. Working on 3D software & animation project will be an added advantage.

Sub Office Assistant
Qualification:
FA / FSc or equivalent degree from recognized Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification. Must be computer savvy.
Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years post qualification relevant experience including 5 years of working experience in Office Management and document handling in reputed public/ private sector organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, and Internet Browsing.
  • Should have strong verbal/written communication skills.

Office Attendant
Qualification:
Literate, preference will be given to higher qualification.
Experience: Minimum 3-5years of experience in official environment with handling of files/ documents in reputed public / private sector organization.
